Policy
The Guns/Ammo Classifieds section works a bit differently than the Misc. one, when you submit a post, it will go into a 48-hour review process, giving mods time to verify the post against the policy and prevent illegal things from reaching the page.
If no moderator approves the post before 48-hours are up, the post will be auto-approved, any posts can be removed retroactively, even if it was auto approved.
Please read/review the Classifieds Policy if you haven’t already, there have been minor changes and additions.
Remember that you are solely responsible for following the law to the letter when participating in transactions with other members of the forum. This is not the dark web, we will not have illegal activity on the site. The Forum reserves the right to shut it down at any point.
Roadmap
With classifieds finally being fully open, I will be shifting focus on the following forum improvements. These are not in any particular order and do not have any sort of release date, they will be ready when they are ready.
Theme Redesign
A new and cleaner look to the forum, I was never a fan of the current design, it was configured to get things moving, I will be going over some plugins with a fine toothed comb to only use the ones that we really need and start working on a custom theme to fit our needs.
Custom Plugins
I have been playing with the idea of developing a custom plugin which would implement a reputation system for classifieds. It would keep track of the amount of confirmed transaction a user has, whether buying or selling, a rating system of sorts if you will. This is more of a long term development goal, granting there is enough movement on the forum to warrant that.

A supporter membership will be available soon, I am finalizing the details and infrastructure to support that, in the meantime here are the expected benefits at launch:

Monthly Digest Emails
I have the option to enable monthly summary emails, it works by sending an email with new topics to users which have not visited the forum in a while. I have this currently disabled, I don’t like spam, however it could help with increasing user engagement and keep you up to date on what’s going on, I have the option to enable it for everyone (you can still unsubscribe via email link or in your Account Preferences), how should I approach it? I am keen on making it default for new users, and opt-in for existing ones, but wanted to hear everyone’s opinion.
