Sorry I guess I will have to say good bye.

I am seeing this message on here “Your browser will soon be incompatible with this community. To keep participating here, please upgrade your browser or learn more.”

I am using the most up to date Firefox browser for my computer which is still running Windows 7 pro64 and I have no desire to change that. So I am saying good bye since I guess I won’t be able to see this site shortly. I have other computers for other uses but this is the one I use online. The other ones never get connected to the internet.

There isn’t much traffic on this site, is there somewhere else where all of the CT Gun Talk people have gone?

You should really consider a new computer. Not only will be able to access this and other websites, but your browsing will be much more secure. Old browsers eventually stop receiving security updates, which makes you vulnerable to hackers and malware.

Sorry to see you go!

I just ask that you please consider updating your OS to something that didn’t stop receiving security updates 5 years ago, it’s a recipe for disaster. Especially if you use it for online browsing.

There exist pretty gnarly windows 7 exploits that make it trivial for you to have a bad day (It’s why windows 7 is being deprecated by everything, including this forum platform)

I made this forum after CT gun talk shut down, maybe I haven’t reached many people, we’re sitting at over 300 users right now, it’s hard to singlehandedly keep a platform active. I’ve been shifting focus on providing guides and different tools to at least make use of the space out here.

Windows 7! :open_mouth: You are asking for trouble using an OS that has stopped getting security updates for years!
