I am certain that everyone who is on this forum and who lives in CT has been to Hoffmans in Newington. I remember when they were where Newington Gun Exchanges is now. I have gotten some decent deals at Hoffmans, I never sold or traded only buys. That stated, and everyone is considered innocent until final judgement by a judge or jury. This hurts all of us in the 2A community. We do not need bad press and this seems totally based on greed and stupidity.

Yeah I’m not really surprised, that place has always felt a bit off every time I did business there. I only ever had stuff transferred there because of the low transfer fee, I could count on one hand the times I’ve been there. I think they are still in business because it has the mainstream feel to it, people just associate gun store with Hoffman’s, so it’s where the average Joe goes or has been going for decades.
I wish them best of luck, it’s not a great look for the gun owner community with the amount of mismanagement they’ve been doing.
