Previously Registered Glock 17 Assault Weapon and Mech Tech Upper?

I have a Glock 17 the DPS made me register as it wasn’t pre-ban but had a threaded barrel.
It was registered way back when Malloy was swinging his dick through Hartford.

I believe it doesn’t violate any ATF rules as that was debunked years ago.

As it is already an assault weapon albeit a pistol can I legally with CT. laws convert this pistol to a carbine with the mech Tech kit ?

I believe all you had to do was swap out the barrel and youd be good.

As for turning it into what you want, you still would need to fill out forms with the feds.
