As part of a continued effort to improve and streamline the Temporary Pistol Permit application process, the Manchester Police Department is announcing the implementation of a new scheduling and payment software for those applying for a temporary 60-day pistol permit. The Manchester Police Department has partnered with Permitium, LLC, a software designer specializing in web-based law enforcement services.
Through this new software, applicants can apply for their temporary pistol permit, upload the necessary documents, submit their ID photo, make their payment, and track their permit status.
Applicants can also register and schedule an appointment to have their fingerprints scanned at the police department through our vendor, Biometrics Identification Services.
Permittium is an online vendor that supports hundreds of law enforcement agencies throughout the United States with software and secure connections to safeguard information about applicants. It also allows encrypted and secure uploads and payments to its application portal.
