I recently bought a used vehicle. I wanted to register it and went on line to get an appointment, which is bullshit because covid is over and they love the control. I entered the type of vehicle, and all the asked questions. The earliest was on 04/11/24! This state is a joke and most of its agencies are as well. The dmv needs to go back to being open to the public that payes for their salaries
Personally I like the ability to make an appointment. My last visit to DMV was fast. No wasted day waiting in a small stuffy room with who knows who. No more belches, body odor and farts. If you need your registration right now there are dealers who can do your registration on the spot for ma fee. I do agree they should have open walk-in service. Lots of State, federal and business have found the COVIG model to be dest for them. The public not so much but they don’t seem to care.
You must not have read my post. I did say there should be a walk-in service. Yes, you should be able to do it online. You do not HAVE to pay for a service BUT it is there as an option.
