I am seeing conflicting information on the site regarding firearms classifieds. Can we post firearms for sale in the Misc Classifieds category, some other category or can we still not post at all?
Misc. Classifieds is open for ads but is used ONLY for things which are NOT guns or ammo.
Upper receiver for an AR-15? Misc. Category
Spare LPK? Misc. Category
Spare 10 round mags? Misc. Category
Lower receiver for an AR-15? Gun/Ammo Category (not open yet/or allowed)
That old box of .380 ammo you had since you sold the pistol? Gun/Ammo Category (not open yet/or allowed)
If you could point me to a specific post which makes this not clear, I would actually really appreciate it, i’ve mentioned classifieds a few times over the months and its hard to keep track of what is where and what I need to update.
As it stands the most recent Classifieds Update post is the source of truth as well as the Classifieds Policy.
The FAQ needs to be updated as well now that I think about it.
