This law is geared at legal gun owners in general, we don’t tend to vote for the opposition party and they know we are in a minority. That stated, I found a good deal today but the transfer has to wait because of previous purchases during the state mandated 3/30 law. This law is anti-2A, is in violation of interstate commerce laws and just sucks as do most gun laws. I found a site that will calculate the date that you can pick your gun up if you found a few good deals. Again this year some legislators are proposing some laws to deal with the stupid 3 handgun in a 30 day period. Like past years chances are pretty much non existant that the Democrats controlling the legislature would enact it. So far one proposed bill for waiving the limitation for estates.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That title 29 of the general statutes be amended to exempt firearms
2 transferred from an estate from the three firearm per month transfer
3 limitation.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow estates to transfer firearms without restriction.
