Old guy here possibly about to get into .22 target pistol shooting. Completing gun permit course soon. The paperwork bureaucracy for the whole process is complicated and slow.

Looking for a handgun that is very accurate, and easy to clean. So far, considering the Taurus TX 22 Competition, the Tandemkross modified Ruger Mark IV 22/45 ‘Race’, and the Volquartsen ‘Black Mamba’. If I go inexpensive, it prob will be the Taurus TX 22 Comp or one of the Sig’s. If I get that Ruger, it will have to be modified to be allowed in CT.
