Nothing crazy, just parts I got on sale here and there to get the build going. Will have to replace the handguard, the rail is a different style than the upper and its driving me insane. Just missing optics, and a can… Thoughts?
Im looking to build one similar. Where did you get the lower from. I heard Hoffmans had compliant ar10 m5 lowers. Would like to have my hands on 1 soon. Please feel free to point me in the correct direction.
@YellowTT I got it shortly before the ban last year (actually I think it was literally the day of), I got multiple lowers from various FFLs, from whoever had something in stock at that time.
After the ban, your choices are fixed mag, or bolt action configs. Im certain if you call around you will find one!
I have one lower which may or may not technically be an AW, so depending if the cert gets issued, I will have to start thinking about picking up a bolt-action upper, I kind of dig that idea though!
