An employee of a firearm store accidentally injured himself while handling a pistol.
On Tuesday afternoon, an employee of Lock N Loaded Firearms in Southington was handling a firearm that he believed to be unloaded. He discharged the pistol, and accidentally shot himself in the hand in the process.
The employee was transported to a hospital in the area for treatment. At this time, there is no update on his condition.
Makes one wonder how the cartridge got in the firearm and why he didn’t check it first.

These things happen, they really don’t need to, but they do. He definitely wont do that again. And it was not “accidental” it was negligent.
